16th Scandinavian Conference on Image Analysis
Gjøvik Color Imaging Symposium 2009

Friday June 19th will offer a chance to participate in a post-conference workshop on color imaging.

The symposium will cover all aspects of the use of color information in digital imaging and rely on your contributions. Thus we invite researchers to submit papers covering all the research topics of digital color imaging, as well as aspects of the symposium topic
"Putting human vision into image processing and evaluation", such as:
  • Image quality and image difference metrics
  • Spatial color algorithms
  • Color appearance in images
  • Measuring contrast and other perceptual features of images
  • Optimizing image processing algorithms based on perceptual metrics
  • Modeling perception of complex scenes
  • Print quality
  • Visual saliency

GCIS'09 is organized at Gjøvik University College in Gjøvik, about 130 km north of Oslo, easily accessible by train, bus, or car. The registration is performed as part of the general SCIA registration process.
